Trail camera problems?

I'm using Moultrie camera's. M880 and M888. Batteries last a long time, photo's good, but couple of my older Moultries quit keeping correct time and date. One quit taking night photo's. What camera's have worked best for you?

I like the Moultries, Son. Customer service is good. Cameras are good. I'm sure there's some other decent cams out there, but for the price to me I buy Moultrie. Overall, I guess it's like cars, hope you don't get one built on Monday or Friday. lol

I've got 3 Bushnell Essential E2 cameras. My cameras stay in the woods 24/7..Battery life is outstanding, small size, pics and video are really good...Can't ask for any more than that..

I have may Moultries and all are working good but am starting to buy more and more Bushnell's because I think they take a better pic and do seem to be holding up well. Have you done a firmware update on your Moultries as that has solved some of my issues in the past with those cameras.

Go to Moultrie website and look up your camera to see if it has an update available, you then download the update to an sd card and put it in the camera to upload. Here is a link for you to find the firmware, if it has any available.

I have had a ton of Moultries (good cams) and most other brands.

I am tired of throwing them away.

I am going to try the Cabela’s with lifetime warranty - have 3 or 4 so far.

I run a fleet of about 25-30 cams year round (SC and IL) and throw away 2-3 annually (admittedly, some are old and tired).

Until Cabela’s proves me wrong and let’s me down, I am staying with them.

Dang, found another Moultrie that didn't take photo's last night. Still have four that working though.

I wonder if that warranty is still valid since Cabelas has been bought by Bass Pro Shops now.

Still have their horns, and another camera that picks it's own time and date. Photo taken Mon or Tue of this week. It's an old Moultrie, still takes photo's. Good enough to let me know what's hanging around.
