So I had to take my wife to an appointment. When I dropped her of, I just "happened" to have a rod in the back of the truck, so I ran to a nearby bridge to get 30-40 min of fishing time in from the shore.
I put on a 5/16 oz jighead with a 3-1/2" paddle tail in white and silver flake and started casting. 2nd cast - hooked up.
I ended up catching eight decent trout in that 30 min. So it seems they are starting to chase bait a bit more aggressively now, which is a very, very good thing.
