Default Lanier report March 19 2005

Fished up the Chestatee this morning till about 1 this afternoon. Got 2 on a pointer 100 and 3 on spotstickers in backs of pockets. Decided to go back down the lake and fished Orr, SM and TM and didnt draw a strike. Screwed up I guess, maybe shoulda stayed upriver. Not a good day, but beats the heck out of staying home!

Many bass boats stopped around TM6 yesterday afternoon and today but I didn't see any fish caught. I was beached on the wrong place and only caught one bream.

There are a lot of good sized bass up the cove at my marina. I think I will go back the next decent day and try them out. They are skittish about any splashes near them. I might dig up some worms or spring lizards out back and see how they do. There are some trees down in this cove and they will have no problem getting me tangled up.

I did wear out the bream in that cove. 2 or 3 with one cricket and then one pro robbed my bait about 4 times in a row
