I know this may be a long shot, but I am looking for a job in emergency management / planning / disaster relief, etc in the NW Georgia area around Chattanooga. I have 10 years experience in production planning, supply chain management, and assembly line supervising. Currently in the flooring industry but that requires a 2 hour daily commute and after a decade, that is taking it's toll on me. I've looked into places like the Red Cross, Salvation Army, TEMA, GEMA, and local county emergency management agencies. Just wondering if anyone knows of any executive positions open. I have my MBA from KSU as well. Just ready for a change into a field that I am much more interested in. Trying to work on the online courses and certifications from FEMA as well to get some feathers in my cap.
