Go to tenn. to save tax on a boat?

Looking at a bass tracker and wondered if anyone had went to the chattanooga bps and avoided sales tax?
I can see paying tax on the trailer would be unavoidable.
Kinda like getting an atv from southern powersports.

I believe you will be required to pay the GA sales tax when you register the boat in GA. ATV's are not registered so if you buy it out of state the tax man don't know and he can't charge you taxes on. Some out of state ATV dealers are now notifying your home state of your purchase.
