Tailgate wings last night & banana pancakes this morning

Did a 350 mile drive yessaday....visiting my folks & sis's family.

Stopped for strong java and made the final 311 miles non-stop.









Interstates were fairly smooth...even the construction areas were easily navigated due to no work being done on Sunday....


Hungry & thirsty after getting home. Son agreed and asked for something fast.

I obliged by rolling the kettle out and getting the Vortex fired up in no time at all.


The before & after rubs for the wings. A buddy gave me some Kick Butt rubs and said he uses this one on his wings. After tasting a couple I can see why he likes the rub. The honey dust went on after they were taken off the grill as per instructions.

No sauce was asked for....just more wings cooked next time.



















I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their time with their family. I had a great visit this weekend and was very grateful for the time together.

As we've all been reminded....life is too short.
