Hunted this evening off Bever Dam Rd.
Nothing seen between 2 of us.

My buddy shot a good 8 pt at 12:30 today. He saw 17, 5 were bucks. I saw 1 buck and 4 does. None were chasing but a couple of the bucks were trailing the does a few minutes behind them. Talked to a couple guys that saw chasing. Going back in the morning.

Tonight there were 14 killed so far, moslty 2.5-3.5 8 pointers. 2 4.5 year 8 pointers, 400 hunters

Shot a 2.5 yr old 7 pt Friday morning at 10 am. This was the 9 th deer I saw, one other buck a spike. Heard a good many shots. 3 other bucks were checked out while I was at the check station.
Between my buddy and myself in 2 half day hunts we saw 31 deer 8 bucks 3 were shooters we each killed a buck. None of the bucks were chasing. I've been hunting this portion of the WMA for several years learning the section of land in the area I hunt. Some days nothing is seen some days several are seen. They are not always deer there and moving, this was a good hunt.

Any picts of any taken? I hunted friday and jumped some when i left. Heard 1 shot around 5 on the amicalola track

We hunted Burnt Mtn. I got shined off but my 2 buddies saw the same 3 pt and a doe.
Wasn't a total waste, learned of a short cut to our spots with an old logging rd that allows us to go deeper.
