Hey, I am from Florida where I have seen bucks chasing does from August of one year till April the next year depending in what part of the state you may be in.

In my area in the Panhandle I have seen spotted fawns late October. Most show up late July.

Yeah, no way that fawn is less than a month old. I have handled and raised over a hundred fawns so I can judge ones age pretty close.

Killdee, probably just a freak of nature on breeding VERY early, probably in August. I once saw a week old fawn second week of Jan in central Alabama so it does happen.

Very small ( maybe premature) fawns usually will not survive.

Yeah, that fawn at the least is 3 weeks old. That’s crazy for that part of GA. Hunted up that far north until recently. Most “rutting” activity we had was around thanksgiving. I’ve seen fawns that size in bow season!
