Balrog has posted the same info in the political forum, but I thought that this would also fit here. It is not a political statement, but a fact.
There is a tax credit available to Georgia residents that is a direct dollar-for-dollar tax credit. If you donate to an approved Georgia Rural Hospital, you get a direct tax credit- not a deduction- for Georgia state taxes. This also becomes a federal tax deduction.
If you classically have to pay extra taxes to the state, PM me and I will give you an excellent choice as to where to donate to. It's your money, and it's going to be gone anyways. So why not help out a rural hospital in the process.
