Halloween at Chattahoochee

Whos going? I am planning on camping on WMA. Cant make my mind up if I'm camping in Upper Chat. River campground or camping down low. The road being washed out half way really hurts driving top to bottom. Anyone know what elevations bears are at right now? Some of you on here know I live 6 hours away and scouting is out of the question for me. Any advise in a PM would be great.
I simply do know whereabouts of acorns other than the acorn thread, which is getting kinda old these days.
Thanks and looking forward to hanging around the fire for a few nights.

I saw most bear activity and fresh sign last week at 3200 feet and up. Bear were hitting red oaks hard. I did a majority of my scouting via topo maps online. Good luck.

Not sure if i'm going to go or not. I saw all of mine there above 2800 feeding on grapes and red oaks.

They was wearing the grapes out during bow season. Unreal amount of sign that I found.

I hadn't planned on it, I've never been there and didn't even think of it. BUT now you've given me ideas. Since I was forced to miss cohutta this would actually be a nice make up hunt.
