Gurler

If I lived where I used to live in Louisiana.....Geaux Saints!...it would already have been tossed to a redfish. Man, I miss that kind of fishing.

I hate spell check, title should be Gurgler.

The Wine Cork was just sittin' there

Wine cork popper, colored with cheapo nail polish from dollar store. Don't know how it will last, but easy and cheap.

Looks really good to me!

These things look awesome!

I am learning to tie trout flies (and to fly fish) but I have never used a popper. If I tied up a few of these, would I fish them in the same waters as I'd fish for trout? Or are they better for a different type of water? I don't know where I'd fish them!

I use mine on bluegills in the ponds and rivers down here. Wouldn't know if trout will bite them or not.

poppers are more of a bass/bream fly....I guess a big ol brown would smack one though...
