Crooked Island? never heard of it. I will have to check it out.
It is on Tyndall AFB so it is undeveloped. Great place to spend a couple of hours and find some beautiful shells. Tyndall allows people to visit. It is a few miles west of Mexico Beach.

Yes. Read into a permit for certain things.

and keep this area a secret.......
Not many know about it. If you don't like crowds, you'll love this place.

I applied for a permit, but being the government, you cannot do electronic signatures. They rejected my application. Sent them a new one and communicated via email with some gov't clerk....then she went dark. Wouldn't ever reply to me again. No more communication. Bummer, we didn't get to travel to that area for our trip.
Typical gov't.

looks like I cant post a link on here but it is a nice looking place, If My sister didn't have a place in Mexico beach I'd look into it
