I stumbled across this interesting list of state record whitetail bucks which may be something others have wondered about. More than likely, some of the great whitetail books have this well documented.
For those who have not seen a list of all 50 states in America with their top best typical & non-typical record buck score, then check out table below from Southeastern Outdoors' web site.

Looks like Alaska, California, Hawaii, Nevada, & Utah do not have any whitetail record buck scores listed so I guess either that information is not readily available or maybe they do not know of any wild, free ranging whitetail deer herds roaming their state lands.
Hope anyone with more up to date info will post their findings.
