When I was there last year, I didn't see or hear pigs at all, and just 5-6 years ago I could count 20-30 pigs during 3day hunt, as I recall handful of pigs been taken. I guess they trapped out, killed or poisoned (most likely all together) majority of pigs there. Now, let see how population of sea turtles are going to rebound, if not, they have to ban all commercial fishing.
I have been hunting Cumberland for 10+ years and also have experienced the decline in hog population and kills. Was wondering since a number of hunts were canceled if folks had better luck during the early Jan hunt.
