Don't post much anymore but wanted to give a shout out to my taxidermist Brett Miller at Beaks and Bands taxidermy. Killed this bird in 2016 walking a field edge and I told him to get creative. He added the old field plow handle in it to give it a unique look.

That mount is as good as I've ever seen. Very realistic. The head is natural looking and not overly bright colored.

Thanks again guys. I joked with my wife that it matched the dining room table perfectly with the barnwood and spring time flowers. Which it does. But it went upstairs pretty quick after that.

That mount looks great! Most mounts I see have the head painted way too red. Yours looks natural.
