3.99 a lb is too much. 1.99 would be great.

Jul 1, 2015 #4 NCHillbilly Administrator Staff member Bought some at Ingles yesterday for $2.89/lb. Think I'll grab a few more slabs this afternoon and throw 'em in the freezer. I haven't seen $1.99 babybacks for years. The last time I did, I bought all they had, wound up with about 15 racks.

Used to be, SAM'S had a three rack pack for, oh, $23-$25. Now, that same pack is more like $43. Nope. Not for essentially fat and bone, even as much as I love to eat them. I can cook fillet with all the fixin's for four people for less than I can cook ribs these days. Just like tri-tip, flank steak, hanger steak, etc., the formerly cheap cuts are all the fad now and the price has shot up. I honestly don't grill much meat anymore, I'm just not paying what they want.
