AA battery life

Do yourself a favor and get the solar battery, it will pay for itself quickly and you won't have to keep going in and changing batteries. I can't speak for the battery life in todays feeders but I was going through batteries like water in my Moultries until I started doing the solar batteries, now I can't remember the last time I changed the batteries in them.
