Join GKF on May 13th for our Clarks Hill Kayak Fishing Catfish Roundup and hitch a ride on a monster flathead catfish!
Like no other reservoir... Clarks Hill is the KING for producing monstrous Flathead Catfish. A 64lb Flathead was caught in Clarks Hill in 2010. A 71lb Flathead Catfish was caught in Clarks Hill just last year. Seeing fish in the 20lb to 50lb range is not uncommon. So be sure to bring your seatbelts and flood lights on this one Folks... GKF is targeting some of the biggest freshwater game in the state!
In this Catfish Tournament... we are scoring by weight of an angler's top 3 catfish.
GKF is camping on this event; Friday and Saturday.
A fish fry will be held Saturday after the event.
Live, dead, artificial baits are all legal.
Catfish must be caught by Rod and Reel.
