May 13, 2017 #8 Capt Quirk Senior Member Can't be sure from the pic, but might be a Black Racer/Indigo. They get about 6', and fast!
May 13, 2017 #9 Capt Quirk Senior Member By the way, Indigos are protected, and a real good snake to have around.

May 13, 2017 #14 J Josey Senior Member I'd say either a black rat snake or Indigo, leaning more towards an Indigo. Doesn't look like a racer to me.

May 14, 2017 #17 Miguel Cervantes Jedi Master Tough to tell from that pic, but I'm gonna venture a guess based on head size / shape, scale size / smoothness and the propensity to be more triangle shape when agitated instead of ribboning up like a rat snake will, I'm going with Black Racer. Tough to tell though.
