Almost time to plant!

My buddy is down at the club.

The soil must have had some decent moisture - he says the wheat is up 3-4".

Only planted a week ago and no rain.

Love it!

We got the rest of our oats and wheat drilled in this weekend and came back over the top with 4.5 acres of crimson clover and 2.0 acres of white clover.

Good ph and we fertilized most of the plots pretty heavy before planting.

Got it all done just before the rain.

We had some wheat that was planted a few weeks ago and it came up well but with no rain, it was not making much headway. Some of it we just re-drilled right over the top of it.

Hopefully, we will be feeding them up soon!

Good luck to all!

Saturday I did 50lbs of Buck Forage oats, 5lbs of Diakon Radishes and 3lbs of Durana Clover.

Just a 1 acre plot that we had been prepping it was misty as we were seeding then a solid rain set in that evening. Hope it does well we prepped An waited but it's in and actively raining so we will see if we timed it right.

I did 8.5 hrs of tractor seat time on 10/6. 8a-5p with a 30 min lunch break. 22 plots on 1k ac club. Used a grain drill and man was it dusty!! Got a good rain Sat-Sun on it. Spent 2 hrs on the tractor Saturday at the house plot. Will be planting it in 2-3 weeks.
