I saw a video from the management advantage about irrigating plots with a trash pump. Anyone ever do this?

Back in 2013 I irrigated a food plot with one of these pumps. It actually wasn't a trash pump but one I put together. It got the plot through a dry spell. The link to that is: http://forum.gon.com/showthread.php?t=776160&highlight= My posts start at #6 and 13.

Do you have a running creek? You can make a cheap water ram and stack IBC totes to make a tower. You can get quite a bit of pressure and the ram will pump 24/7
