After the state paid a sharpshooter and helicopter to kill 415 hogs on Di Lane I wonder if anyone is hunting there.

That was federally funded, not state.

I just wish we could hunt year round for hogs like the southern zone. On public land (National forest, WMA).

No difference between northern and southern zones for public land hogs. The only time you can't hunt them on public land is basically from June 1 - Aug 14.

Got one small sow on Oaky Woods wma this Monday. First time out since turkey season.
Too much pressure on the other animals to have people in the woods year round.
