I'm planting tomorrow. Mowed and harrowed food plots for the last two days. Dog fennel and grasses were terrible this year, because of good rain in western Macon county. We killed four rattlesnakes in two days while doing tractor work. They are really active this fall.

Our area has been bone dry for the better part of 4 months only to have the sky open up and drop over a foot of rain on us in the last few weeks.

Our water tables are still way down, but we're only getting gully washers so the water is puddling for days before it all soaks in.

Yep, gonna get it done in Screven this weekend as well. Or as much as I can. Better a bit late than not at all.....
