Big mama getting ready to go on bed. Caught on a shakey head wacky rigged worm at a friends pond. If only it was fat !!! Woulda been 10+, sadly she was skinny as CensoredCensoredCensoredCensored

What's the forage like in that pond? That bass looks way skinny for the size of its head/mouth. You get length and girth measurements to figure our the WR?

Nah didn't have anythin to measure with cuz I just went down to the pond for a minute. It's full of weed beds in the pond, I feel like the water temp is too cold for spawn. As for the forage it's got to a of bream, crappy, frogs for food

I saw bucks fannin beds back as early as March 7th.Ponds warm up a lot faster than rivers and lakes.When the water temps reach 60* they gettin ready.A buddy of mine caught a nice female on Wednesday that had just laid her eggs.
