Well, finally got to take my "new to me" boat out today. Spent the past couple weeks, rewiring, cleaning carbs, etc., and apparently missed one heck of a crappie catching day (Monday) chasing a trailer light gremlin.
Anyway, we put in at Berry's around 1:30pm, found out I have a bug remaining to work out, so outboard wasn't used. We trolled to the bridge and tied up. Caught 10 crappie and 1 bream, no slabs, but a fun day non the less.
The fish still had eggs in them, so maybe I'll get to head up to one of the coves or creek mouths this weekend and boat some slabs.
All in all, any day is a good day for me if I am fishing.
