I'm thinking Coon,
but not sure
put the camera out near the house to find out what makes those skretch sounds at night

I agree that this is a yote. That would be a really "Suped-Up" coon if it had ears and legs that are that long !!!!! :D

I'm going to say grey fox. Legs too skinny to be a yote. Also, a grey fox makes a screech noise like you describe. It'll make the hair stand up on the back of your neck walking through the woods at dark.

Yote. And I would give a 99% chance that the screeching sounds at night are a red fox. Google "red fox scream."

Head and ears don't look right for a gray fox, and its legs are too long. Red foxes have black legs.
