Stewart County

This is my first time hunting in south GA, does anyone have any pics of bucks harvested down there in Stewart? We are a little west of Lumpkin.

I'm not sure how this county stacks up to the other south Georgia counties but hopefully it will have some big buck opportunities.

You can stop at lynches country store right off of 27 in Lumpkin and look at pictures

Been hunting there for 16 years now. There are some nice bucks around there. Bunch of hogs. Good luck this year. like kmckinnie said stop by lynches store and look at pictures.

If I could get to my photo bucket pics I'd post some. Dad's friend has a place there and has some great bucks on it. If memory serves me correct Lumpkin was pretty close by.

I appreciate the info. I'll check out that local store my next trip down to check the cameras. I noticed the neighboring lease had a hog trap so hopefully there isn't too many on the property.

Here are a couple over the years....south of Lumkin off of 27. My buddy shot the first one last season.

It's like most areas. There's some good ones, all the way down to little one horn spikes. Good thing about Stewart is the low human population.
