Not a bad day collecting.

I seem to find 20 or so broken points for every one intact point so keep looking.

A friend of mine has a collection of serrated arrow heads. I have never found one. I look on my dad's property on the Tallapoosa river in Alabama. Her serrated heads all came from around Madison/Covington. What game was hunted with serrated arrow heads?

Serrated points have been common through the archaeological record from late Paleo times to historic times. So, pretty much everything from extinct megafauna like mastadons and ground sloths to deer and bear and small game and other humans have been hunted with them. Some of them were used as knives, also.
