Agreed on dark meat sneaking in and stealing the show.
As a kid I was a "breast-only" chap when given a choice. Now....though.....I'm all about runners & flappers, too.

Me three! But I do often grill breasts (or wings). Except I usually baste breasts keep it moist inside. That doesn't let the skin crisp up as much, which goes against the TV cooks' wisdom nowadays. But that is how my crowd likes it.
They like me doing smoked turkeys the same way, moist skin with moist white meat.
Give me half a chance and I'd be all over that like a cheap suit.
Dark meat don't scare me at all, but I would definitely beware someone who just ate a big bait of cabbage and sausages for a few hours.
