I dont think you will have a problem drawing a tag. I have got mine 5 years in a roll for archery, and they have always had tags left over in the unit i apply for. Its getting very expensive for out of state hunters. I think Iowa is about the same.

I put in for the four myself...I don't sweat the gettin drawn or not I'm not made of money or anything but, as far as things I stress over in my life that would not be one!
Hope I do get the nod tho...its a bucket list thing for me, and I'm pumped!!

You can buy your license over the counter when you get to Ks. Just pay for the permit up front.
