What can you catch from the beach or pier? Family is going for thanksgiving and I'm mixed about going due to deer hunting. So any advise will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have been spending thanksgivings and Christmases down there since I have been an infant and always try to spend a little time fishing especially early in the am before everyone gets up. I have caught bluefish, slot reds, bull reds, pompano, catfish etc then but I would target redfish. I would fish 2 rods. one with a pompano rig with fresh peeled shrimp and the other cut bait pinfish etc. you can also have one ready to throw at schooling fish like a gotcha. Good luck and enjoy
