I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time yesterday afternoon. Saw 4 does, a spike and a 6 pointer around 5 on a powerline while sitting in my pop up tent. I was watching a small road that separated planted pines and a hardwood bottom, and saw a small doe run across the road, then another, and then another. I got my gun up on the sticks, looked in the scope and there he was. I shot and he ran about 50 yards.
