2017-18 Deer Season

Anyone know how the law is written to know how to figure when season is going to start and stop. I thought there was something about gun season stars the Sat after OCT 15 and on the 15 if it is a Sat. Don't know if that is still true. But Im really trying to figure when season ends???

Archery - second Saturday in September

Primitive weapons - first Saturday after October 8th

Firearms - first Saturday after October 15th

Unless it is changed via legislation, the season ends on the second Sunday in January.

update

Senate and House bill did not move forward this year on changing to third Monday state/school holiday weekend, though I believe it got a favorable report out of DNR committee...

Looks like Campus Carry moved from House to Senate...
