Perception Prescador Pilot

Does anyone have one of these yet?
I am looking at getting one, and was hoping to get some input from an owner.
They look amazing, but one heck of a sticker price.

That is the cheapest available pedal kayak currently. And rightfully so, you get what you pay for at this point.

Does it work? Yes! it does float and the pedal does propel the Kayak.

Is it as nice as other pedal drive systems currently available? No, they are a little quirky and take a minute to get used to them.

Side note, if you do buy this Kayak, make sure you are getting the recall kit for the pedals. The early models had to get recalled because the propeller would come off, so Pescador had to ship out a lot of recall parts kits for people to install.

I had read about the issue for all of the kayaks sent out prior to April of this year.
Perception claims to have corrected the problem.
I was looking at this one because it is one of the few that actually go in reverse.

I love my Pescador Pro 12. Don't need the Pilot because of the shallow water I fish but HAVE used a newer Pilot on a lake and had zero issues with it. Pretty cool system.
