Saint Simon's and Jekyll fishing this weekend

I'm thinking of heading down this weekend (from Atl) to do some Red and Trout fishing and I am wondering several things: 1. Do you even recommend it with the forecasted winds? 2. Do you think the high winds will adversely effect the fishing in the creeks and such? I'm preparing to tow my 21ft bay boat down, but I don't want to waste my time if it is going to be a fruitless trip. I am open to any and all advice, just looking to tap into the knowledge base here!

I wouldn't mess with those winds on the GA coast, but the Gulf might fish...

Right now, it's pretty heavy. Wanted to fish in front of the island but could not stand the pounding in the Hydrasports 2500WA, and it's a deep, heavy boat. Did real well Sunday inshore on trout, but tried it again today in the 16' Tracker, and the anchor would not hold us on the flats we wanted to fish. The ride up the Mackay was pretty tense, and very wet, in a 16' aluminum. You should be ok in a glass 21' bay if you stick to the river systems. I would not do the sounds right now. That being said, the trout ARE biting.
