almost looks like the ends of an old swing set for the leg supports with a round bar running through it and the targets hanging

don't know but I like it...looks homemade and a lot of fun to shoot at. Reminds me of when we used to shoot empty shotgun shells off of a log when I was a kid.

my Maw Maw and I used to sit on the front Gallery and shoot shotgun shells off the fence post..I tore one of them up before I got better at it.

here is a 2 shot group on a similar style target @ 300

Lets see that with a 22 long rifle. ::ke:

PS: You shoot until you miss or decide to stop shooting to keep your score. If you decide to shoot at #8 and miss you lose all your score. The distance to target is 50 yards.

I saw something similar at the range today but they were only shooting 15 yards or so. In fact, most of the AR guys were only shooting 20. Scratch my head

I would imagine that most stock ARs do not shoot small group sizes so in order for them to hit small targets they need to get close. You can make an AR very accurate with the correct after market barrels and triggers.

PS: My stock Colt LE 6920 M4 would shoot 1+1/2" five groups at 100 yds until I put a Geissele SSA-E two stage trigger and a White Oak Armament 18" 1 in 7" twist Varmint full upper. Now it will shoot 65 grain Sierra Game Kings inside a dime and sierra 69 Grain Match Kings 3/8". And it runs like a sewing machine.

WOW! those have some beef!
I was thinking 3/4" AR500 target steel.. may halfta rethink that.

You may be able to use thick hot roll steel (?) since only 22 LR would be permitted which would be much easier to cut from round bar stock. On one of the videos with a sign under the target stating only 22 LR permitted.

You might be able to buy the parts to build one like this one.

I have similar to the last, a 6" and two 3" suspended from chains.
Fun tuning myself in at 30yds with a 1911 or ruger Mk1.

I know me, it'll get hit with bigger calibers than advertised.
