Rainy day eats

blood on the ground

Cross threading is better than two lock washers.
What are y'all having on this rainy Sunday? I'm having vegetable soup and cornbread.
Soup has diced ham, ground deer, and some slices of leftover backstrap i grilled the night before. Oh and a assortment of vegetables!

Glad to see the okrey..

Lot of folks don't use that any more!

I love it in mine.
Squash and/or zucchini will thicken it up
and make it a little glossy just like the okrey.

More Cold Wet Day Eats

Looks similar to a week or so ago for me, but love this kind of stuff this time of year, particularly on a day like this.

A mix of collards and mustard greens from the garden, cornbread, a country style rib, and a dash of my home-made pepper sauce.

Nice looking soup and cornbread, Blood on the Ground.

Collards 'n cornbread look great, too, Ryork.

I ran a couple grills yesterday afternoon to cook stuff for Sunday and workweek.

Had a ham in there along with some Cajun Sausage.

Weber wings are about as easy as it gets, too.
