I know everybody has their own idea of the perfect survival kit. Just ran across this and thought I'd share it.

I appreciate it and I'd be interested to see what anyone else has in mind to improve it or add to it. Obviously we can add the whole world to it but we're talking about simplicity.
Here's what I'd do to improve it:
Add a travel-size jar of Vaseline or other petroleum jelly equivalent and a zip-lock bag filled with cotton balls. I suppose the toilet paper could be used in the place of the cotton balls but I just like cotton balls better.
You could get one of those jumbo Kiwi shoe polish cans and scoop out the polish. Saturate enough cotton balls to absolutely stuff that can and seal up.
