I'm hoping you're wrong. I've been using 3 1/2" #4 XR longbeards for 3 years and they have all went bang and done a heck of a job dropping turkeys out of my 835. I've been using a kicks choke and it keeps a pattern like I've never seen before.

Wish I was wrong. Google it and you will see that some folks have trouble. Clicked on a shell in Indiana 3 years ago with a bird at 20 yards putting on a show. Clicked on 3 shells straight last year. No joke. Gun has boomed a ton of birds with other shells though. Had a gun smith clean it thoroughly last year but still clicked on 3 shells straight and all shells were dented where the pin hit it. Great turkey guns!

My buddy shoots a 835 with a Kick's .665 choke. He's going to the 3'' LB xr 6's this season just because his gun jams with the 3.5'' shells.
