Not to shabby.

Well the numbers are in, 51 does and 29 bucks killed this year on our 4500 acre club. That's 15 happy members. We have had this club for 8 years (same members), and this is our second best year. We average 50-60, no QDM just State regulations. Also 42 hogs were signed out, not bad either.

That is a lot of deer. Like 1 deer per 56 acres. If I did that one year on our lease it would take us years to recoup. You must have a ton of deer to keep that ratio up.

Not really, even at 25 deer per square mile he would still have killed only about a third of the deer on his lease.

It's on the coast, lots of small islands and marsh. The deer are plentiful, but small. The property that borders us is a 2500 acre private estate, only hunted by outlaws. So we call this our breeding ground, the owner lives on said property and has a love for animals and does not hunt anything but quail. So, I think that property helps us out a lot with holding deer in the area.

Nice. That's a big ol' hay field. Between the marsh and neighbor's land, it sounds like there's plenty of hiding places for those deer. I've seen where approx that many deer were killed on lands 1/2 that size....year after year.
