BOTG's pheasant & dumplings looked so good i made chicken & dumplings tonite.
It's first time I've made c&d, but realized i've been eating and making it all my life. my mom's family is from lancaster county, pa, and there is an amish dish called pot pie. (though there is chix in it, it's not the same as chix pot pie.) it's exactly the same as c&d.
and of course the requisite chicago hard rolls. you get them from publix bakery and they are the best with pot pie, soup, chili...etc.
