Low Country Boil Question

I cooked one last night to feed 15 adults. Taste-wise, it was excellent as usual. This was the 4th one I've cooked and they've all been good. Like most, I'm always looking for improvement. So my question is about the shrimp. We usually buy the bags of medium-small wild caught pink shrimp.

I'm curious to know if I should be getting large/jumbo white shrimp or another type? I'd think the larger ones would be easier to peel...but I'm curious about overall quality.

I always use the large ones, it la more personal preference than anything else.

Wild caught white shrimp, preferably (for me) 26-30 per lb for large, 21-25 per lb for jumbo.

I like brown shrimp for frying, they have a little sweet taste to them.

The bigger the shrimp the better to me.

Sounds strange I know, I've started adding baby carrots, to my boils. Talk about hanging on to the crab boil.
