Also heard some old timers call them "Strawberry Bush" due to look of the pod and seed. They do add a bit of bling to late summer while your are bow hunting or chasing bushy tailed tree rats.
I prefer Heart's a bustin, got several in my backyard and the deer keep them pruned very well.
