Went out to a friends lake house on Lanier in Gainesville today and fished from his boat dock. The conditions were pretty brutal but I managed a nice Chanel cat and a slab crappie. Cat was on the bottom and the crappie was 15ft. I was using small minnows under a slip bobber. The crappie was slap full of eggs, caught another smaller crappie that was oozing out eggs, it got released. As soon as this cold front clears out and the water temps go up the crappie will be on fire.
