Here are a few pics of mine that I built the deer eat out them very comfortable and took to them right away. All of mine hold between 200-350 lbs of feed as you can see multiple deer can feed out of them at the same time im getting all ages of deer from fawns to mature bucks feeding out of them. Hope this helps if you would like further info feel free to PM me.

hogs

I'm curious too. Are trough feeders a waste of time if you have hog problems?

34-35" to top rail and you should be ok. We had a HUGE hog issue on our lease and this allowed us to feed. you will need to stake down the feeder so the hogs dont turn it over or push it around..that happened to us a couple times.

Its a huge waste if you have bear.

I have bear and hogs around haven't had any problems yet the hogs walk around my feeders but hardly ever get in them, the coons and deer are my main customers. Hogs only got in mine the one time I mixed protein with corn the hogs and coons were super heavy mostly pushing all the protein out to get to the corn. I hope this helps

I originally bought a gravity feed bucket. The deer would use the push stick last year so I bought a timed feeder this year and attached it.

Protein troughs I build. Mostly scrap. Deer take right to them.
