Any tips on finding catfish on lanier this time of the year .do I need to be fishing structure ,channel's.I got some spots for night time .just can't seam to find them in the daytime

Cats are hard for me to zero in on lanier. There has been some good post in here try searching.
If you have some good night time spots they shouldnt be far off during the day. I used to do good in coves off deep channels with bluebacks or shinners med. or large.
A friend has caught a few pretty good ones lately in the main part of the lake deep over trees while striper fishing.

I don't know about Lanier, but in Clarks Hill, we start finding them up in shallower, stained areas this time of year. I think the water warms up faster there.
