Hunting lease insurance...

so I'm signing a lease on June 1st with a family trust that owns some property. I need evidence of an insurance policy with $1M in limits with the landowning entity as Additional Insured. Easy peasy.

I'm running into some problems with the insurance carriers not wanting to write the business since i'm not actually creating a club or llc. I'm buying the policy in my own name and I'm the named insured. Anyone else having this problem? Anyone figured this out?

I'm looking into https://ahuntinglease.org/hunting-lease-insurance and they seem to offer a solution for me that works.

I've been using them for years, they were my top choice when I researched it a few years back.

Some require a written lease or you want have coverage. That should be an easy fix unless the trust doesn't want to write a lease.

This is who I have coverage with. Once you are set up it’s a simple payment to renew.

A Written Lease is not uncommon.
