I have one that looks just like that first picture that I take out hunting with me a couple times a week. he don't bother nothing but stays close to me so I don't worry about snakes. Mine's name is Bubba, he may have been named after the one in the second picture.

Talked with a Senior Biologist with DNR just last week about this very subject and was told this is exactly why they toe the company line about "no panthers in GA"......because there are eleventy billion folks out there who see a black lab and call it a black panther. Loved your pic and agree with Throwback's comment 110%.
