Looks like daddy came back to defend his house. All seems well in the nest but they look like they are in the lookout. Anyone see them scrap?

Both eagle parents are in the nest right now.

Sounds like things have settled down since their Facebook page reports the other eagle intruder decided it was not welcome & left.

"Update. 12:28 p.m. Berry's male has returned and the intruder flew off. The intruder was a juvenile eagle, not a full adult."

I had not checked the camera since the attack and amazed at how much that little joker has grown. Two in the nest would have been a crowd.

baby eagle is getting big!!!!

Per their Facebook page they think it is a female because it's already as big as the male .

She took her 1st flight this morning.

Excitement all around--B3 has fledged!! She took off a little after 7 a.m., landed on a nearby pine tree branch, then came back safely to the nest. Video of the first flight coming soon! (Photo by Gena Flanigen)

Thanks for posting the good news.

Since I could not find the same 37-sec. 2nd flight video to embed in this thread, here's B3 eagle's 2nd flight filmed from the ground on Berry College's Facebook page at the web link below:
