Fine Swine

'Sir Piggusen" was a fine hog. Barrowed very early, raised to 397lbs dressed. Spent his life eating corn, protein&cookie meal blends, and foilage graze a few days per week. Here to tell Ya, mighty fine viddles. There's no comparison to eating meat from home vs meat from the chain stores. We've got two sows now (landrace) and will cross yorkshire into the next litter from 'Pigmund Freud'.
Next year, I'll post pics of the kids and I rendering lard and such.

Nice! I remember all the Thanksgiving weekends as a kid butchering several at once. Scalding to make scraping hair easier. Grinding fresh sausage and fighting over the first patty. Cutting up fat for lard! Nice pig pic!
